Deity Microphones Product Sneak Peaks for 2024

May 16,2024 | Pinknoisesystems

We had the pleasure of Vincent from Deity Europe visiting us with some of the new products being released. We can say we were not disappointed.

Deity SPD-Mini & SRD-Mini

These small but impressive units have a solid build and a lot of thought into the design, for example the angled Hirose connectors on the SPD-Mini, as to not get cables caught when inside a bag. Another little detail is the screen flip switch, so the screen will never be upside down no matter the placement.

The units go perfectly together and can be docked using the mini pogo pins to attach the units together. They guide together with magnets and lock in with screw threads, making the units, when together, feel very stable but still small enough to slot into a sound bag.

Deity SMic-3S

As the normal naming convention for the Deity microphone goes, the SMic-3S is a short version of the SMic-3. If you’re comparing it to the SMic-2S the biggest difference is weight. The ultra-light body feels so lightweight it almost felt like nothing at all. Given the weight of the unit, it still felt very sturdy and solid build quality.

Deity DLTX Transmitter

With the 48V phantom power this unit provides it opens up the transmitter to be used for wireless boom operation. We were so excited to try this we plugged in a mic and attached it to a boom pole to try it out. The easy menu operation and weight of the transmitter made it great for wireless booming. Especially when supplied with the 3-pin lemo to XLR cable and TX mount.

Our Thoughts?

All of these units support the great product ecosystem Deity is creating. Each unit complements the other and all create a versatile kit that can be used in multiple situations and then expanded when you need to upgrade your kit.

As for when these units are going to be released we can't say, but  keep your eyes on our socials, and website and sign up to our newsletter to be the first to know when stock lands.
