This year marks a significant milestone for Pinknoise Systems: 20 years of pushing the boundaries in audio innovation and delivering sound solutions. From humble beginnings to becoming a beacon of knowledge in the audio industry, our journey is a testament to our passion for location sound.

The Early Days

In 1997, a small audio post-production studio was established in Bristol, located in the historic Massive Attack studios known as The Coach House. The control room provided a fantastic atmosphere, equipped with a Genelec monitoring system. It was here that the name Pinknoise Post Production was conceived.

In 2005, Pinknoise Systems was officially founded. By 2016, we had successfully supported and distributed products from over 100 different brands to the audio community. In 2020, we expanded into the EU, opening our office in Dublin, Ireland, where we supplied audio equipment throughout the European Union.

In 2022, we began offering custom cabling services, employing skilled workshop technicians. Our in-house cabling team specialises in terminating lavalier mics and creating custom cables tailored to our customers' needs on set.

That same year, we launched Green Noise, an environmentally friendly brand initiative focused on giving back to our planet. This includes not only increasing the number of trees we plant but also optimising our resource usage, reducing waste, and promoting biodiversity.

2023: Elite Business Recognition

Kicking off 2023, we proudly entered the Elite Business 100 Top SME 2023. Judged on longevity, contribution to the community, team development, and innovation, these are all values we constantly work on to serve our customers better. 2024: Global Growth

In 2024, we experienced significant growth, reaching new audiences through events and social media, helping students and professionals learn industry tips and tricks. This year also marked our expansion into global markets, enhancing customer service, product range, and availability for sound professionals worldwide. This year, we’ll be unveiling new releases, hosting engaging workshops, launching exclusive merchandise, expanding into new territory, and much more.
