Our sustainability initiatives are rooted in a passion for reducing our environmental impact and creating positive change for the planet. We take part in multiple campaigns throughout the year to help reduce our carbon footprint whilst also running events that help raise money for charity or support local causes. Here you'll find all the actions we're taking to be a more sustainable.
Here are just a few of the initiatives we promote to help keep Pinknoise as green as possible. These campaigns are either consistently running and integrated as part of the business, or are limited time campaigns that are used to help a cause.
We believe in making a positive impact not just in the world of sound, but in the world we live in. That's why we partnered with Bubblebee Industries for our Staying Green Campaign, where we set out to tackle product waste and plant trees to support environmental sustainability. We planted 641 trees and donated trade-in items to The Bright Foundation, with your help! Read more about this campaign here.
We care about the environment and are always committed to working on staying Green! Our overall ethos for our green policy is ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’. As part of our green policy, we are continuing to implement processes and positive changes to reduce our impact on the environment. One way we’re doing this is by reducing the amount of new cardboard boxes we’re buying and reusing as many boxes as possible from our suppliers. Any boxes we cannot use get recycled which is handled by our waste management contractor, who also adopt the same reduce, reuse and recycle ethos. Read more about our Green Noise commitment here.
In the location sound industry, equipment is constantly evolving and being upgraded. But what happens to your old gear? We offer a trade-in program that allows you to exchange your used equipment for a discount on new gear, or sell it directly to Pinknoise. Once we receive it, we’ll clean and refurbish your equipment, helping it find a new owner. This initiative not only makes professional equipment more affordable for emerging sound recordists but also ensures that working gear doesn’t end up in a landfill.
