Hawkwoods SD-1 Hirose Adapter for Sound Devices MixPre 3/6
This neat solution battery eliminator unit will allow a DC input to the Sound Devices Mix Pre 3 and 6 mixers. The power input is via a Hirose connector which is wired to UK standard. The unit is approved by Sound Devices and regulates a 5vdc power voltage to the MXPD 3/6.
An excellent addition for users who may already have an existing power set up based on DV/NP style batteries.
The adaptor slots onto the rear of the mixer just like Sound Devices original battery sled, this will click into place to ensure a secure connection. This allows users to power the mixer from a external powering device.
