Radius RAD-2 Shock-Mount Exterior Boom - Pinknoise Edition

The RAD shock mounts provide exceptional microphone isolation from movement, handling noise and other vibrations associated with booming.

Each mount has universal mic clips to fit any mic 19-25mm in diameter and includes a pair of standard firmness hoops and a pair of light (softer) hoops -- so you can get the best isolation for your style of booming with any mic you choose.

All of the components are produced using virtually indestructible thermoplastic elastomers from high-precision injection moulding in an ISO-9000 certified factory (no 3D printing here).

Features:

• Great microphone shock mount isolation when booming indoors, outdoors or on run-&-gun shoots
• Suitable for use with shotgun and other style mics with a diameter of 19-25mm, up to 250mm in length
• Recommended to use with shotgun mics indoors or outdoors. Also use the RAD-2 when using mics with a slide on Radius Nimbus Windshield or other style deadcat fur on the front.
• 2 pairs of interchangeable hoops are included - RAD-2 braced hoops in standard firmness (black coloured) and lite (light blue)
• Comes with 360-degree rotatable XLR holder

Radius Mini-ALTO Add-On Kit

The Mini-ALTO Windshield  Add-On Kit is made to be fitted on top of any existing RAD-1, RAD-2 or RAD-3 shock mount for small condenser microphones. This kit includes an ultra-lightweight 2-part magnetic "pod" windshield, a Smiley Face Adaptor that connects to the RAD shock mount, a removable fur windcover, and a magnetic Windshield Stowage Holder with Carabiner Clip.

• Add-on windshield kit if you already have a RAD-1, RAD-2 or RAD-3 Shock mount
• Small, lightweight and easy-to-use full coverage microphone windshield system. Magnetic pods allow you to go from interior to exterior in seconds.
• Achieves up to 40dB of wind noise reduction when using the included fur windcover - equivalent to many larger sized windshields

The Mini-ALTO windshield system has been designed to be fast and easy-to-use with almost all small condenser, short shotgun and standard shotgun sized microphones. With a diameter of just 85mm, the Mini-ALTO is the smallest "full-coverage" zeppelin windshield available in the professional audio recording industry. Even at this size, the Mini-ALTO will achieve wind reduction for up to -40dB with its included fur cover, which is comparable to larger pill-shaped windshields.
