Rycote Perfect for Windshield Sennheiser MKH 416

Rycote now offer a smaller and specialised Windshield solution for the Sennheiser MKH 416. Rycote have tailored the Windshield Modular WS 3 kit with special lyres and a right angled XLR plug (to reduce internal length of the mic). This provides a smaller profile compared to the WS 4 which was previously the option for the 416.

Featuring our genuine, patented Lyre® technology, Rycote basket windshield, premium short XLR connectors (incorporated from our advanced Cyclone® range) and professional-quality Mogami cable, it's perfect for the Sennheiser MKH 416.*

Modular Suspension
Rycote modular suspensions provide complete isolation against handling noise and cable-borne noises, by supporting the microphone in a cradle arrangement using Lyre suspension webs.

Windshield
The Windshield basket completely surrounds the microphone and its connector, sliding onto the Modular Suspension to provide up to 30dB of wind noise attenuation. This is the first layer of wind-shielding protection for your microphone.

Windjammer
The Windjammer introduced by Rycote in 1985, is high quality synthetic fur covers, designed to fit perfectly over the Modular Windshield. It gives an additional 20dB of wind noise attenuation. Fitted with a drawstring & toggle to allow snug and easy fitting. Modular Windshield Kits, including zipped Windjammer are also available on request.
