During the Visit: Our Insightful Trip to Rycote's New Warehouse

The Pinknoise team recently had the pleasure of visiting Rycote's new warehouse in Ashby. During our visit, we received a comprehensive tour, meeting employees from various departments and gaining insight into every step of their product development process.

Hands-On Experience

We observed and even participated in the meticulous construction of windshields and visited the anechoic chamber, used for intense testing for wind protection. It's safe to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and left with a deeper appreciation and understanding of the craftsmanship at Rycote.

Exploring the Anechoic Chamber

One of the highlights of our visit to Rycote was exploring their anechoic chamber wind tunnel. This state-of-the-art facility ensures relentless product development, testing, and quality control. An anechoic chamber is designed to eliminate reflections or echoes of sound or electromagnetic waves, often being isolated from external energy. This unique setup means that only direct sounds are heard, providing an ideal environment for precise testing.
