The DPA Heavy Duty 4061 is a truly robust miniature mic, with a stainless-steel reinforced capsule housing and heavy-duty cable relief as well as DPA's unique Double Vent Protection system allowing for greater resistance to humidity and sweat. The microphone comes with a heavy-duty cable relief and a thick 2.2mm cable that makes it extremely durable.
Designed to sound as good as ever, the Heavy Duty 4061 uses the same classic DPA 4061 capsule which has very low self noise and high sensitivity, offering the most clear, transparent and natural sound available from any miniature microphone. The capsule is capable of handling an impressive 144 dB peak before clipping (10dB more than it?s 4060 counterpart), and with a linear response and low distortion and an extremely large dynamic range, they handle almost any situation with ease.
