DPA's long history of precision and perfection continues to define DPA Microphones to this day. Long before manufacturing begins, the magic starts with the R&D team in Denmark. This group lays the groundwork for each microphone design by monitoring trends in the market, consulting real users to gain customer insights and using world-class technology and design processes.
Moving on to production, each microphone is assembled using a perfect balance between automated and handcrafted manufacturing. It takes up to 200 individual steps to assemble a DPA microphone. During the manufacturing process in Denmark, a microphone can be calibrated up to 15 times before final approval. Narrow tolerances ensure that you can switch between any parallel DPA mics and never hear a difference in sound.
